Leah completed her PhD degree in Earth Sciences &amp; Environmental Sustainability at Northern Arizona University in 2025. Her research investigates the impacts of past Arctic climate change on carbon cycling in permafrost and Arctic lakes. She uses a variety of geochemical, geochronological and biomarker approaches. He has studied amino acid racemization beginning with his dissertation research at the University of Colorado.
